Carbon neutralization on dioxide formed?

Carbon dioxide is continually created by all heterotrophic organisms, including humans, who emit it through breathing.  This is not the source of the problem; rather, it’s when CO2 is emitted outside the biological cycle by burning carbon compounds like: natural gas, petroleum and coal – called fossil fuels. Fossil fuels provide the majority of our current energy needs.  Excess CO2 is pumped into the atmosphere via two methods; 1) directly by burning the fossil fuels; 2) indirectly through our activities which require energy: use of electricity, purchasing products and through transportation.hat kinds of problems are caused by increased CO2 concentration in the atmosphere?Climate change, increase in the energy content of our atmosphere leading to a rise in global temperatures.  Global warming is happening now; its affects can be felt in our daily lives. How can we decrease the amount of carbon dioxide that we emit?Basically through three methods:1. Reduced consumption of energy (turning off the lights, riding a bike, reading instead of watching TV, etc.)

2. Using energy efficient systems

3. By using renewable energy sources.w is the Renewable Energy Center of Hárskút helping to reduce your CO2 emissions? We suggest carbon neutralization to anyone, who is dedicated toward solving our environmental problems.  We can make an event, services or even products carbon neutral.  We achieve carbon neutralization by investing in renewable energy sources.  Currently, we are installing solar collectors on the roofs of countryside schools and kindergartens to reduce the institution’s CO2 output. step in making the event carbon neutral? The first step, in all cases, is to assess the emissions, its size. (this will give us an opportunity to reviews the whole event and determine where savings can be effected.  For the entire event, we need to determine the complete list of suppliers and how much energy goes into the gifts, food, etc.  Only after this can we determine the amount of CO2 we need to neutralize.  Making the calculations for a renewable energy investment is fairly complex, because we need to go beyond the amount of energy saved to the energy consumed to produce and deliver and operate the equipment.CO2 emissions for several activities:

Description of activity
CO2 emissions (gram CO2)
Average 4-door car, 1 km distance traveled.140-200
1 km per person airline flight:140-170
1 kWh of electricity produced in an average natural gas plant~660
A class washing machine, one load ~627
One load in a clothes dryer ~3000
Manufacturing 1 kg of paper (most of this can be reduced by using newsprint and recycling the paper refuse)~900

Several carbon neutral companies and events:- Winter Olympic Games in Torino - 2006
- World Bank
- Clothing brands
- Furniture stores
- Taxi companies
- Weddings
